Well they are at the local funfair anyway.

Bought £5 of old pennies (50) for use in the old-fashioned machines, got:

2 * 1905
1909
1916
1917
1918
2 * 1920
1935
2 * 1937
1938
1939
1961
3 * 1962
1963
2 * 1964
1965
2 * 1966
11 * 1967

plus 16 * modern penny tokens

All the pre-1930s coins were in basal state, I kept the 1930s ones.

Good purchase!  The Pennies I still need in the 20th century are:

1902 (Low Sea)
1919 KN
1926 Modified Head, Not likely to ever get one and I should just mark it off the list)
1934
1951
1982
1985

The list of what I lack is much bigger for the 19th century.

Please can you say more about this? For use as a collector of old machines that you own, or is there some sort of arcade that features these old machines?

It's a travelling funfair featuring vintage machines.

Here is the modern token from this company that has been made for use in their old machines.

The 1926 modified head was never THAT scarce. More common than either KN coin, but not so easy to spot, so the KN coins were kept while 1926 ME were not. In a similar way nowadays it is easier to get a 1912H than just a 1912. In the 1960's I found just one 1919KN (correction, two, but I was working in Lewis's in Leeds at the time and exchanging coins from the till would have brought the supervisor down on me!)

1982 and 1985 are certainly not that uncommon, so one should turn up soon!

I bought a BU 1951 penny for £12 a few years back - I never found one in change back in the 1960's
I still need a 1950! BU ones seem scarcer than 1951...

Great Britain should have "remonetized" those old coins maybe 1990 and had them circulating as maybe 3 new pence - there sure are too many 1967 coins that really not that old but are otherwise useless.
