BO Issues Commemorative Silver Coin

Muscat, Nov 11 (ONA) --- Central Bank of Oman (CBO) issued today a commemorative silver coin on the occasion of selecting Muscat as Arab Tourism Capital 2012.

This commemorative coin is a legal tender for its face value and can be purchased from the Central Bank of Oman, and this price is subject to change in accordance with changes in silver prices in global markets. 

The obverse shows coat of the Arms (Khanjar) and the name of the Sultanate of Oman, CBO name and denomination in Arabic and English. While the reverse depicts coloured logo of the occasion: Muscat Arab Tourism Capital 2012.
