Russia, defaced Rouble of Czar Nicholas II 1897

Another coin from my Toffee tin,  ;D This coin seems to have been deliberately marred at some time with cuts & what appears to be solder marks, possibly after the revolution? unfortunately a good coin ruined  :'( :'( >:D

The entire edge is filled with numerals & letters

looks like it had a broach mount at some time :'(
always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....

Agreed, the three solder marks are where the pin was. See attachment. As the portrait side was unprotect, it rubbed against the clothing. Basically ruined as a coin, but could once again be converted to a broach.

I guess your right about the Brooch, it looks like some clumsy erk slipped when removing it & scored the surface as well  >:D
