New Commemorative Issue: 2012: Motilal Nehru

Dear Friends

As per the newsitem appearing in some newspapers, GOI may issue commemorative coins on 150 years of Motilal Nehru (father of Jawahar Lal Nehru). He was borne in 1861. His 150th year passed away in 2011. However GOI has woken up now. I dont think he contributed anything for the development of India (apart from giving birth to hi illustrious son    )

Sanjay , you seriously need to consider reading up a bit of history . Else you wouldn't have said that about motilal Nehru . He was a very influential congress leader inhis time. And nehru fashioned himself after his father in a very significant way

Look!!!! what I found!!!!!!!!

A full page advertisement on Commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Motilal Nehru.       

GOI will issue Commemorative Coins as well as postage stamp on Motilal Nehru today.
