The peace dove on coins
« on: May 26, 2012, 04:01:31 PM »
The peace dove is often shown with an olive branch in its beak, or else leaving a pair of human hands. In fact, it is very rare to see a dove on a coin that is simply meant to be a dove - and not symbolic of peace.

Afghanistan, 50 afghanis, 1995.
