Bank of Korea has issued two gold and three silver collector coins to commemorate Yeosu Expo.

The images can be seen here.

And it has also issued a tri-metallic 1000 Won commemorative commemorating the same. (Mintage: 40,000)



It's still unclear to me whether the 1000 won commemorative can be had for face or not.

I don't think so to be honest. 1000 won afterall is about 1 dollar.

I believe a similar planchet like this will be in use.
