Tunis, Mustafa III, AH 1171-87, 2 Burben AH 1178

The weight of the coin at 2.58g  would make this denomination 2 BURBEN ?. It looks exactly like KM#52.2 which is 1 BURBE, weight given 3.30 -4.60g

KM#56 2 BURBEN gives weight at  2.68 - 4.60g, wildly varied !  however it's a different type altogether so my coin is either an extremely lightweight  BURBE or an unlisted BURBEN variety  :o

The diameter should show if it is an underweight Burbe (burpe) or an over weight Manghir (sp).

The rosette on the left picture shows it as a Fals (in French: Burbe) of Mustafa III.

Please advise the diameter.

It's 20mm

looks like they weren't particularly accurate with their weights at that time if it's a Burbe

Yes the weights were rather all over the place, Burbe it is.

I guessed it would be, the coin is paper thin to account for the low weight
