I have a few silver Ghaznavid coins inc this one, can't find it in G&G under Bahram Shah as it only lists Billon Jitals

Ticket says Ghazni, Bahram Shah 1118-52 AD  with Sanjar AR Dirhem AH 525

weight  2.43g    14mm

Does the ticket belong to the coin?

Check this to find match.

Thank you Ansari,   it seems that  G&G don't list any silver coins for this ruler under Ghaznavids, coins struck in Ghazna ( in present day afghanistan) & other Western mints are not listed in the book although om zeno they are listed under Ghaznavids

Actually GG is specifically for "Indian Sultanates" thats why it doesn't cover the same.

G&G does list coins for the Ghaznavids but only those minted in certain areas , e.g. Lahore, Punjab

The Tuebingen catalogue (volume XIV d) includes photos of 30 or 40 (different?) base silver issues of Bahram at Ghazna mint.

That's quite small, since it has photos of around 140 (different?) types of Mahmud at that mint alone............

And, Mahmud ruled for a comparable time period as Bahramshah (slightly over 30 years). Why do you think there is such a fenomenal number of different ypes for Mahmud then ? Should this be seen as a reflection of the declining power of the Ghaznavids during the rule of Bahramshah? After the evacuation of Ghazna and move of the administration to Lahore the quality standards of the coinage seem to go down even further.
