Most of the heads are flattered, to say the least. Only Lavrillier got him right, I think.

Lucien Bazor was of course the chief engraver of the Paris mint. Cochet made a bronze medal, that is on Bazor's grave in Châtenay-Malabry. Bazor and Lavrillier went on to produce more designs after the second world war. Bouchard, G. Simon, Galle, E.J. Vezien, Robert Cochet and Delannoy descended in obscurity.

Cochet did more circulating designs after the war, e.g. the 1954-58 100 francs, one of my favourites.
