The coin will be issued in three different metals: gold proof, silver special uncirculated and German silver. Attached images of the same. I think the third version can be had for face.

Since 2004 all the commemorative 2 and 5 hryvnia were issued only for collectors. And before that - very few coins of these denominations appeared in circulation.

Thanks! Can these coins be had for face? (Just like Portuguese €2.5 pieces for example)? I have some Ukrainian bimetallic 5 Hryvnia pieces in plastic capsules which were described as 'special uncirculated'. I think their issue price was more than 5 Hryvina?

I think their issue price was more than 5 Hryvina?

19 Hryvnias in the offices of the National Bank of Ukraine. Four times more than the denomination.
